We
just celebrated the beginning of spring on March 20th with more than
a foot of snow in the area where I live. It could be worse since towns around
me got as much as 16 inches. In a way I look forward to summer, but not the
over 100 degree temperatures we usually get, but I wouldn’t want to live
anywhere else and give up my four seasons.
I
read in the newspaper that a prosecutor wanted to sue the groundhog Punxsutawney
Phil for his wrong prediction in February. LOL It isn’t the poor groundhog’s
fault; it’s Mother Nature and her unpredictability.
Easter
was a few days ago bringing out all the egg hunts with colored eggs hidden for
the younger children. Chocolate rabbits abound on this holiday, but I find
eating them only puts pounds on me. Those are sweets I can’t resist.
I
just received a contract for my latest manuscript called Apache Eye from
Romance Divine. This one is a little different dealing with a woman that has
chosen her profession as a private eye. There’s romance, intrigue and a
combination of surprises as the story unfolds.
My
next story will be about a famous rock star which I started yesterday. I’ve
decided to call it Calico.
Now
for a couple of questions for the reader. How many of you live in the area of
the country where there are four seasons? If so, are you looking forward to the
lazy summer months ahead? There are a lot more things to do in the summer, so I
suppose everyone will agree that they can’t wait for the sunny days even if
they’re a little too warm.
